A CNshopper parcel without Package Protection: what the refund policy offers after delivery
When the protection box was not ticked, three sections of the refund policy are what remain. Here is what each one promises and what it leaves to circumstance.
Section 13: damaged, wrong or missing after shipping
If no protection was added, CNshopper’s Return & Refund Policy is the document that applies. Section 13 has two halves. The first covers problems seen in the warehouse photos, before shipping. The second covers an order that is damaged, incorrect or missing after international shipping, and asks you to contact customer service “as soon as possible”.
It lists the information to provide: package number, tracking number, product images, packaging photos, delivery label photos, an unboxing video if available, and a problem description. It then says that claims after international shipping may need carrier investigation, seller verification, warehouse record review or other evidence, and that the outcome “cannot be guaranteed”.
There is no number of days in section 13. “As soon as possible” is the whole of its time rule.

Section 14: lost or delayed parcels
Section 14 begins with “Delivery time is an estimate and not guaranteed” and lists reasons for delay, from customs inspection and weather to an incorrect address or incomplete recipient information.
Its two working sentences are these. “If a package is lost or severely delayed, CNshopper can help you contact logistics providers or check the tracking status.” And refunds or compensation for lost packages “may depend on the chosen shipping route, carrier rules, insurance availability, investigation results, and CNshopper policies.”
A parcel that shows delivered is not mentioned. Read literally, section 14 is about parcels that are lost or late, and section 13 is the closer fit for one that is “missing after international shipping”.

What the policy commits to, and what it leaves open
Put sections 13 and 14 side by side and the firm commitments are modest: CNshopper will receive your report, can help contact the carrier and check tracking, and may help identify the problem. Everything about the result is conditional.
That is not unusual for an agent’s refund policy, and it is not a reason for alarm. It is a reason to know before shipping whether your parcel had protection, because among the CNshopper documents we read, the protection page is where a delivered-but-missing parcel is described.
The same material helps either way. The evidence that section 13 asks for overlaps heavily with the Porch Theft, Misdelivery and Partial Loss lists: tracking number, label photos, the address you used. The porch profile greys out the protection strips when you are not adding it but keeps the proof visible for this reason.

Line descriptions with terms of their own
CNshopper’s freight estimator shows a description for each shipping line, and a handful of them mention lost-parcel terms that belong to that line alone. One US line states that it offers no re-delivery. These descriptions are written per line, change with the line, and are not a policy page, so we do not quote them or compare them with protection.
Our public check found no line marked as including free insurance; protection is optional. If a line description matters to you, read it on the estimator at the moment you choose the line, and keep a screenshot with the date.

Customs, refusals and returns in section 15
Section 15 closes the delivery end of the policy. Duties and taxes are the buyer’s responsibility, and a refund may not be possible when a parcel is delayed, returned, detained, destroyed or refused because of customs restrictions, unpaid duties or taxes, an incorrect or incomplete address, a refusal to accept, an unavailable recipient, prohibited or restricted items, or missing customs information.
Three of those reasons happen at the door: refusal, an unavailable recipient, and the address. They also appear among the Package Protection exclusions, so the two documents agree that these are the buyer’s side of the line.
